Resources for Ambassadors of the Kingdom
If we are to think differently we must be informed differently. God has given me an angle of perspective that is very uncommon in this country (USA), but it is not without significant historic/biblical support. This is a place where I have compiled information that encourages being an alternative. To keep us humble God commonly does not give us all the details on much of anything for a myriad of reasons. One reason is because we could be tempted to launch on our own path, either innocently, accidentally, or even purposely. Another reason is that, like the body Paul allegorically uses to describe the Church (the Kingdom of God on earth), we need others and the perspectives God has given them as a means to be active in His kingdom, to help balance us out and create synergy. So we both need God and others to be central in the Kingdom on earth.
This part of the site is to help with balance and perspective within the concept of being the Kingdom of God on earth, rather than being one society’s cogs as the institutional “church” is. We have a long ways to go to become the alternative Christ intended us to be, and in fact started the church to be. The road is rough, and totally foreign to the mindset and perspective of pew warmers, money throwers and their hirelings that populate buildings mistakenly called church. We have Christ and each other to fellowship with in the narrow way (the fellowship of His sufferings), plus we have the comfort of those who have gone before us on this same road.
