Movie and Music Reviews by Tim Price

I find that movies, as do spoken stories, communicate clear messages for those who really want to see and hear. There is a common level at which any movie will be understood. However, various movies, as well as the really great ones, have all sorts of subtle and latent messages intermingled within them.

I have also found that a majority of movie reviews from religious circles are reduced to describing how a movie squares with a list of do(s) and don’t(s). Usually I don’t pay much attention to reviews (religiously motivated or otherwise) because they either miss the forest for the trees or the reviewer has an obtuse sense of what is valuable or noteworthy. Movies either get hatched by a narrow-minded, super-sensitivity or they are washed out by vastly wide mindset (that can be hardly called perspective) in which the only substance is that something was said.

The point of movie reviews at Kingdom Citizenship is to point out specific movies that lucidly depict the duplicity of “Christianity” as it seeks to be part of society or to give examples of the subtlety of propaganda in popular movies.
