Scripture Study on Church-State Relations

In my book, The Diluted Church, I used many texts dealing with Church/State relations. However, in my efforts to use all that the Bible has to say about the subject, I could not do it for objectivity reasons. I still want to show people how much scripture really has to say on this subject. So I have posted a spreadsheet that contains as much of what the Bible has to say about how the church should relate to the state and culture around it, as I can find. The texts are listed in the order of the books of the Bible. Most texts are attended by the entries in the first column to the right with cross-referencing to other texts. The furthest right hand column explains the basic significance of the text to the subject of Church/State relations in case it may not seem clear.

I have studied this subject for a long time and I still find other texts dealing with church/state relations. If you know of additional texts that are not in this spreadsheet please contact me about them. I want to continue to expand this study material. I hope you enjoy the material, as it will help in understanding that the Bible has much to say about politics and the follower of Christ.
